Save the date for a reception at the French Consulate ballroom September 11th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM to meet the Libraries Without Borders (LWB) team, learn more about the impact of the Bronx Ideas Box program, and have opportunities to ask questions and to provide feedback for programs moving forward! Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to talk to our team about the awesome projects going on in the Bronx!
If you visit us on September 11th, one of the things you might hear about is the hugely successful origami workshop we held at the Ideas Box in Galileo Park this past week. Using our new and trusty Chairigami furniture, we were able to set up large stations to accomodate as many visitors as possible. The kids became very engaged in learning how to fold their papers into various designs (pictured above). The origami workshop came in the middle of our long-term poetry workshop, which you may hear about at our reception and which you can read all about here on our blog.
Throughout all these exciting activities going on at the Box, our team also found time to go out onto the streets of New York and set up a little station to get people's thoughts on the Ideas Box program as a whole (pictured below). Their inquiries were met with positive feedback. The inquirees especially enjoyed taking a break from their busy days to stop and play some games with our team in order to get the full experience of the Ideas Box.
Don't miss out on your chance to meet our hard-working, dedicated team and to learn about our incredible Ideas Box program. You'll regret it otherwise. That's why you better save the date! September 11th, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the French Consulate ballroom.
